In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for performing mold/tooling changeovers, conducting routine maintenance and repairs, and ensuring tooling is in top working condition to support efficient production. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in tool room operations within a plastic manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute mold and tooling changeovers with minimal downtime
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on molds and dies
• Diagnose and repair worn or damaged tooling components
• Ensure molds are cleaned, prepped, and ready for production
• Maintain accurate tooling logs and follow established procedures
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to meet shift goals
• Comply with safety standards and company policies at all times

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tool room experience in plastic injection molding
• Proven experience with mold changeovers and tooling repair
• Strong mechanical skills and familiarity with shop equipment
• Ability to read and interpret mold/tooling schematics and blueprints
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Crane and forklift experience is a plus
